Befanned! is not a “Social Network”, rather, it is a "Visual Interest Engine".
The Befanned! Project has been in active development since February, 2010. As of April, 2011, Befanned! Is open for new members in a pre-release fully operational Beta release.
The Visual Interest Engine Project involves four branches, on one domain, http://www.befanned.com.
